The Russian right holds, but the Fletches finally fall to the fire from massed French horse artillery

The Russians shore up the line. Bent but not broken

Night falls and the battered armies remain facing each other. The French have won a tactical victory, but the Russians remain on the field with the decision to fight again tomorrow or continue their retreat towards Moscow. Neither side committed their Guards.

The butcher's bill

French Losses
14 Broken
6 Retired
Leaders lost: Murat

Russian Losses
17 Broken
6 Retired
Leaders lost: Bagratian, Raevsky

A hard fought battle fought over two gaming sessions, about 7 hours total.

Awesome game, Thanks to Mike Pfanenstiel

It's so good to see world class Napoleonic gaming happening in Kentucky!

Blucher is allowing us to do great looking historical battles in ways no other game system has!
